The Journey

Broad-minded started in 2003 as a business with a social conscious that helped promote artists, dj’s and visual performers whilst raising vital awareness for charities such as Huntingtons Disease and the Imani Community Centre in Manchester.  Monies were raised through Music events and a DJ Agency whilst Broad-minded also provid PA Sound System hire to various events for companies such as Adidas, Chester Civic Trust and Slug and Lettuce. We also provided creative music workshops for community events as we moved forward.

broad-minded was supported by the Prince’s Trust and won Awards in 2007 for Young Entrepreneur of the year for Chester, Warrington and the Wirral, Best Business Link Award, a Community Focus award with the Chester Enterprise Agency as well as being a Shell Live Wire Finalist.

Lee Gosnay’s (Founder) Mum was his inspiration for Broad-minded and made him realise that we should be grateful for every moment and make it count.  Lee’s Mum had Huntington’s disease and this made him think differently towards life and the adversities people face and how like his Mum we can live life the best we can and make a positive difference!

Over the years Broad-minded moved into delivering Intuitive Music Making workshops for young people and adults in the community for various organisations, charities and purposes etc. However, Since 2022 Broad-minded developed it’s Wellness and Holistic arm of the business called Movement and Enerchi delivering various movement and energy practices such as Qi Gong, Somatics, Yoga and Tai Chi along with Holistic practices such as Sound Bath Journeys, Holistic Coaching Mindfulness, Meditation and Music/Movement for Wellbeing in Education.
